A detailed introduction to the restaurant
Noble Palace opened in early Summer 2022. The 70-cover restaurant in St James's Park and close to London Victoria serves a menu that draws on flavours and recipes from China's eight culinary regions - Anhui, Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan, and Zhejiang. Dishes will include braised Scottish lobster with udon and three Peking duck dishes: flambé roasted served with black truffle pancakes; with Beluga caviar or stuffed with abalone.
Our kitchen is inspired by the food once enjoyed by the emperors of China's final imperial dynasty, Qing dynasty. Creating traditional dishes with a modern fine dining finesse, sourcing only the highest quality ingredients to create our Chef's Specials menu, including smoked wild fish; braised Chilean sea bass; drunken chicken with Chinese rice wine; and baked bean curd skin rolls with mushrooms.
Our team of master 'shi fu' chefs can design and create custom dishes tailormade to a customer's taste preferences using fresh ingredients sourced on the day. This is a bespoke service that we offer for diners looking to request a special dish that is not already on the menu. Please discuss with your host.
The dining room has been designed around the principles of feng shui using curved lines that are considered fortuitous because positive energy never travels a straight path. It is fully furnished by luxury Italian design company Cassina, which has created 111 hand-blown Bollicosa lights that are suspended from the ceiling, and can be adjusted according to the seasons and time of day. The venue will also be home to the Mi Bar, which will serve an extensive cocktail list, and Mi Lounge, which will stock more than 200 whiskies and feature what is said to be the largest state of art LED screen in London.
